See you at SAMBA X MEG!

We are looking forward to welcoming you to SAMBAxMEG – Salzburg Mind Brain Annual Meeting on 9–10 July 2026 in the beautiful city of Salzburg.

After the last SAMBA meeting in 2024, we felt inspired to continue this tradition and to mark a special occasion: the 10-year anniversary of MEG in Salzburg. To celebrate, we are launching SAMBAxMEG – a slightly different edition of our usual Salzburg Mind Brain conference series, this time with a dedicated focus on magnetoencephalography in all its forms.

The conference will bring together researchers working with MEG technology – from classical SQUID systems to the rapidly growing field of OPM sensors – and explore how these methods advance our understanding of the human brain in health and disease. As always, the meeting will also keep the broader neuroscience spirit of SAMBA, connecting methods, theory, and clinical applications in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere.

We are currently putting together an exciting program and inviting an amazing lineup of international speakers. Stay tuned – in the coming months, this page will be updated with more details about the scientific sessions, the keynote lectures, registration, and social events.
