In order to organize SAMBA 2022, processing of your personal data is required.

By creating an account on this website, registering for SAMBA 2022 and submitting abstracts, you consent to the collection and processing of the following data:

• Your full name, your academic title and your affiliation
• Your email address
• Whether you have paid the conference fee
• ORCID ID (when used for login)
• If you decide to submit an abstract:
  • The names and affiliations of all co-authors of your submissions. It is your responsibility to ensure their consent!
  • The content and title of your abstract.
  • If your abstract is accepted, the title, content, authors and their affiliations will be published in the Abstract Book on the SAMBA website. It is your responsibility to ensure the consent for publication of your co-authors. It is also your responsibility to ensure that you retain all necessary rights to publication.

At any time, you have the possibility to withdraw your consent. You can declare this by email to samba@plus.ac.at. If you withdraw your consent, your data will be deleted and you will no longer be able to participate in SAMBA 2022.

In any case, your data will be deleted latest December, 31st 2022.

You are entitled to retrieve the personal data stored with us at any time. You are entitled to have your personal data corrected, deleted and to impose restrictions on its use and processing.

If you believe that we violate data protection regulations, you can complain to datenschutz@plus.ac.at or to a data protection authority.
